Who We Are
Beginning Today, Inc. Resource Network serves as a community liaison. Our goal is to identify and provide information about available resources that will assist women prisoners and ex-offenders with contacts and other information as they prepare and plan for release and post release.
Many women that are transitioning back into society and into their communities are economically disadvantaged. We believe that identifying and providing a resource directory will help these women and their families become more self-sufficient and empowered. The awareness of the resource directory will strengthen their knowledge and give them access to the resources that may be available.
There are various available resources that will help as they prepare to rebuild their lives and focus on reintegrating back into society and their community. We believe the true key to rehabilitation is the development of effective approaches for reducing recidivism and supportive network systems.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to re-integrate women where they will have an opportunity to make a contribution and to participate in their respective communities after being released from prison. We are committed to empowering those formerly incarcerated women to overcome prior obstacles to be able to lead healthy, productive lives.

BEGINNING TODAY, Inc. is a resource network center/reentry program for women that uses a holistic family model to address the issues and barriers that women face after being released from prison.

BEGINNING TODAY, Inc.’s (BTI) transformative work is primarily funded through the generosity of individual donors and grant-making organizations. As a private/public partnership, BTI operates its programs as collaboration between the private business community, Dept of Corrections, and community organizations.
